ABOUT HYDROGEN

As the unlimited energy storage source, and fuel of the future

Hydrogen is the
clean, abundant and unlimited fuel resource –and— it is available from water, existing fossil fuel sources, all forms of solar
energy storage including waste biomass such as landfill gases & animal by-product.

Every combustion engine on the road today can be effectively and efficiently converted to operate on hydrogen.

All technology is available today to shift to a hydrogen fueled economy.  It will take public understanding demand, and a “national-will” to
move away from fossil fuel dependency.

A TRANSITION TO HYDROGEN FUELS IS INEVITABLE, but it will require:
Design / manufacture of more efficient and adequate hydrogen storage tanks.  These new tanks will be made from carbon fiber
filament materials, derived from a multitude of carbon sources, using technologies available from the Space Program and aerospace
developments. (Interim, existing CNG tanks, with some modification, are being used in present conversions.)

Massive refueling structures making hydrogen refueling as convenient as are fossil fuels presently.  Plans are underway to
accommodate this need.  (Some European countries are well ahead of the U.S. in these developments.)  When the demand is there
in the U.S., it will be filled.

Massive ‘shift’ to hydrogen production and sequestration from a multitude of sources.  Again, all technology is available.  It is
only a matter of commitment and demonstrated demand.

Public education programs and understanding the need / opportunity for a massive ‘shift’ of investment capital toward the new
technologies –away from perpetuation of existing fossil fuel technologies and preservation of the “status-quo.”  This action will be / is
resisted by organizations, companies  and persons with huge commitments to present fossil fuel technologies and methods.

When true costs are properly evaluated, hydrogen is not only the unlimited and clean fuel, it is less-expensive than fossil fuel sources
presently used TODAY!
(‘Disinformation’ provided by existing fossil fuel proponents would have us believe
otherwise.  A major public education program is required.)

“Critical mass” movement toward a hydrogen fueled economy will happen with the ‘retro-fit’ of many more vehicles presently on the
road.  Fueling facilities will be rapidly built as more cars requiring hydrogen fuels are put on the road.

Hydrogen fuels are ‘less-expensive’ –a shift to hydrogen fueling has the potential to create millions of new domestic jobs while
lessening our dependence on foreign oil, cleaning the air, and creating an unlimited energy resource for fueling our economy.

The massive  ‘sea-change’ away from existing energy technologies will create a massive shift in wealth –away from solely fossil fuel
technologies and assets—into new technologies and infrastructure.  As in the case of all paradigm-shifting technologies, this transition
is being resisted.  But, once started, fossil fuel driven organizations will join in the inevitable transition.  They know that hydrogen and
profitable by-products can be profitably separated from existing fossil fuel sources.  It merely requires depreciation of existing
infrastructure assets, and investment in new technologies.  When the transition to hydrogen fueling appears to be inevitable, they will
join in.

No other company on the scene today  --in this country—has the incentive to do other than preserve the ‘status-quo’ until public
demand is created for change.  This is why Global Hydrogen Ltd. was created.  (See information –elsewhere.)

Many European –and Asian- countries are moving well-ahead of the United States toward the transition to hydrogen.  This ‘gap’ can
still be overcome.

Fossil fuel companies control a major portion of the wealth of this country, and the International Economy…  Resultantly, they have an
inordinate influence on the political bodies –at all levels—of Government.  This reality is a ‘fact’ we must face in preparing to move
toward a hydrogen fueled economy.  In protection of their existing assets, markets and technology, they have / will employ;

‘Disinformation’ techniques and methods to slow a hydrogen transition.

Exertion of inordinate political influence, to gain protection and access to Government funding / research dollars.  (These
circumstances are the fact-of-life today, and have been an impediment to transition.)

The challenge is to create public understanding, generate massive public demand for a cleaner, unlimited fuel source, and make
capital sources aware of the true facts about hydrogen, and create a belief it is possible to challenge the huge existing infrastructure
commitment to present fueling techniques and sources.

The real costs of fossil fuels use is heavily camouflaged  at the present time.  True and accurate accounting of costs would show that
use of hydrogen is less-expensive RIGHT NOW –than are polluting fossil fuel sources

STARTING POINTS:

Initial demonstration conversions – such as the city of Mesa / EVIT & Global Hydrogen Ltd. effort (including the Crown Victoria
conversions you have seen and driven today, and posted on the web site.)

Expansion of refueling stations beyond the APS station in Phoenix.

First Demonstration corridor, from Phoenix to Las Vegas –followed by the proposed corridor from Denver to Los Angeles, along the old
Route #66 corridor as proposed in an R&D request submitted to DOE by Global.

Public education programs.

REMEMBER SPUTNIK?
IS HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF?
On October 4, 1957, the surprise launch of Sputnik 1, coupled with
the spectacular failure of the United States of America's first two
Project Vanguard launch attempts,
shocked the United States,
which responded with a number of early satellite launches.
Is history getting ready to repeat itself again?
Recently Russia and China have agreed to work together on a
number of energy infrastructure developments. Other countries are
moving ahead with high tech alternative energy projects. Leading
foreign automakers are far ahead of the U.S.in developing cars that
run on hydrogen.
United States is being left in the dust once again!
We had the "Space Race" and the U.S. rose to the occasion.
Isn't it about time for the United States of America to wake up,
get off the couch, and start creating a new 21st century clean
fueling infrastructure?
You can read more information about
the history of Sputnik on
Wikipedia.
Are We Heading For a “Laika” Moment?
Yes, while most of us were too young to remember, It was in October of 1957 that
the USSR put Sputnik 1 into space.  And, in November of 1957, “Laika” never came
back from space.
